Air Fryer Sweet and Sour Pork Belly Bites
with Sweet and Sour Pork Belly
You thought popcorn chicken was good. Wait until you try these!
Serves 4 (as Snack)
Ingredients
400g KRC Sweet & Sour Pork Belly - view product
2 spring onion, finely sliced
1 large red chilli, finely chopped coriander leaves to garnish
Dipping Sauce
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup light soy sauce
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1/4 cup grated carrot, optional
Method
1. Heat the dipping sauce ingredients with 1/3 cup water in a small saucepan, bring to the boil and simmer for 5 minutes. Set aside to cool in the refrigerator.
2. Dice the pork belly into bite sized pieces and place in an air fryer basket. Cook at 200C for 20 minutes, or until crispy, shaking regularly to ensure even cooking.
3. Serve bites garnished with spring onion, chilli and coriander along with the dipping sauce.
